A FULL-SCALE PROJECT
OPERANT was a project I had the opportunity to shape across almost every aspect of its visual communication. From its logo and graphic identity to motion, interviews, event materials, illustrations and 3D visuals, each piece became part of the same visual language.
the logo
It all started with the logo. The concept combines the idea of coordinates and location markers, creating a simple visual system that could represent positioning, connection and movement.
This became the starting point for the project's identity and the visual language that followed.
EVENT MATERIALS
It all started with the logo. The concept combines the idea of coordinates and location markers, creating a simple visual system that could represent positioning, connection and movement.
This became the starting point for the project's identity and the visual language that followed.
MISSION PATCHES
One of the more playful applications of the identity was a series of illustrations inspired by military mission patches, designed for partners to wear during practical activities.
They brought together the project's visual identity and the character of the fieldwork in something physical, distinctive and memorable.
3D VISUALISATION
3D also became an important part of OPERANT's visual communication. I created a range of 3D assets to help represent concepts and environments that were difficult to communicate through traditional graphics alone.
Some of these visuals were later integrated directly into the project's website, extending the visual language into its digital presence.
INTERVIEWS
Internal project meetings also became an opportunity to tell the story through people and their work. I recorded interviews during these meetings and took care of the entire audiovisual process, from filming to editing and final production.
This added a more direct and human format to the project's communication.
BEYOND OPERANT
OPERANT is just one of many EU-funded projects I have worked on at TECHNIKON. Here are a few more selected projects for you to explore.
